Your options

Consider your choices

If your pregnancy test is positive, you have three choices to consider. Take your time. We'll help you think each one through.

Parenting

You may have more questions than answers right now, or the thought of becoming a parent may feel impossible. If any of these sound familiar, you're in good company. We hear them all the time:

  • "My husband or boyfriend doesn't want the baby, but I do."
  • "My partner and I don't agree on what to do."
  • "I can't tell my family."
  • "How will I finish school?"
  • "How will I keep working?"
  • "Where will I live?"
  • "I don't have medical insurance."
  • "I can't afford a child."
  • "I'm too young."

We can talk through all of this with you, so you can decide if parenting is right for you.

Adoption

Adoption means choosing someone else to raise your child, and you have a lot of choices along the way. Will it be open, semi-open, or closed? Will it be private, or will you use an agency?

Today, some adoption plans let you know your child and be part of their life. You can have peace knowing your child is loved and cared for by a family you choose.

We can help you understand your adoption options.

Abortion

If you're thinking about abortion, it's important to remember that abortion is a medical procedure. What type would you have? What are the risks? You deserve to know the facts. You owe it to yourself to make an informed decision. Perhaps you're thinking:

  • "The father is insisting on an abortion."
  • "I'm not ready to be a parent."
  • "I can't tell anyone I'm pregnant."

Whatever you're feeling right now, it makes sense. You're not alone, and some of our staff have been right where you are.

We can talk with you about your pregnancy and your health, and answer your questions about abortion, including the procedures and the risks. We don't perform or refer for abortions, but we'll make sure you have the facts.

You don't have to decide anything today.

Stop by during office hours, or call or text anytime. We're here for you.
